So this is me, I’m 24 year old professional web designer from Zagreb, Croatia. Creating cool web sites, logos and other graphic designs is my passion. I’m extremely passionate about the web, design, illustration, typography, web standards, user experience & photography.
I’ve been designing websites since 2007. I’m the guy that doesn’t drink coffee or smoke but I drink Coca Cola a lot.
I started designing web sites back in 2007, from then on I have constantly been developing my skills and knowledge. Exploring the work of other designers helped me to create my own style in designing, and distinguish what is good and what is not. Designing brilliant and unique sites had its byproduct, I learned how to use all variety of different programs like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and much more.
I was always interested in computers, web, coding and all other things. In my first year on colleague I was forced to learn HTML, CSS and XML code, so I become interested and begun exploring it. I regret not starting it earlier. For the last four years I’ve learned HTML and CSS to an excellent level. The most contributing factor in my development was the work that I did at Kliks d.o.o. Working 8-9 hours a day allowed my skills to rise exponentially. Discovering new stuff like HTML5 and CSS3 code inspires me to bring my work to a new level.
By working on designing web pages, graphic elements and retouching photographs I was able to learn how to use 6 most used programs in Adobe Bundle. I like to use Photoshop for designing my web pages, but I also know how to use Fireworks if needed, Illustrator for all vector elements like logos, signs and much more. I used Indesign a couple of times but nothing intensive. My newest interest is Flash, I tend to use it exclusively for banners and animated commercials.
JavaScript is my second favorite code but I don’t practice it as much as I want to. I can do animations, slides, interactions, and much more to bring life to a page. In the near future I hope to learn how to use Ajax and other cool stuff JavaScript has to offer.
In 2011 suddenly my interest for PHP code was developed. Thanks to my colleague Tomislav Šantek I was able to scratch the surface of this powerful language. I know how to write loops, conditions and other basic stuff. My first project was a simple currency converter.
As I developed my skills, coding static HTML pages was no longer interesting, I needed something new. Dynamic web pages were the obvious choice. I started with Joomla cms system but I wasn’t really impressed. In 2010 I designed and coded my first Wordpress page (Made-by-maja.net), and to this day on I’m continuing to explore this awesome blogging platform.
Europa Press Holding (EPH) is a leading Croatian media company in Southeast Europe. The company issued five daily newspapers and more than 30 magazines. According to research firm Media Market Monitor, EPH is the largest and fastest growing private media company in Southeast Europe. I'm a part of a small team of designers and programmers who supply support to all EPH needs.
Kliks d.o.o is my first official job. I’m the main designer in the company and the only one. This workplace improved my skills exponentially. Web pages, Wordpress templates, Web shop, Presentation pages, Back end (administration), Flyers, Banners, Prospectuses, Business cards, Info graphs, PowerPoint presentations, E-mails, JavaScript - I did it all.
Blitz Cinestar was my job. I was a student working on a student contract for 3 wonderful years. Cleaning, serving, doing delivery, security, basically all I was asked to do.

I'm training and doing sports all my life. Football, basketball, volleyball, swimming and even singing, I tried it all but it wasn’t me. My passion was dancing so I begun Break Dancing in PK Megablast for amazing 6 years of my life. After that I started to learn how to defend myself by training KravMaga self-defense techniques, snowboarding in winter times, swimming and diving in the summer. Basically I tried it all.
